Que a un cantante le apoden como "La voz", dice mucho de él. Sin duda para muchos es considerado como una de las mejores voces que ha dado el mundo de la canción.
Frank Sinatra (1915-1998) nacido en Nueva Jersey (EE.UU.) y de padres de origen italiano se ha convertido en toda una leyenda, en un mito de la cultura audiovisual ya que ha sido cantante y actor de numerosas películas.
Uno de sus grandes e inolvidables éxitos fue "My way", que se ha convertido en todo un himno de la historia de la música.
Sin embargo esta canción tiene una larga historia. Es una canción popular escrita por Fred Brott, adaptada por Paul Anka al idioma inglés, es decir, que Paul fue el que escribió la letra en inglés basandose en la canción "Comme d'habitude", canción francesa escrita por Claude François y Jacques Revaux. Cabe decir que la canción en inglés solo mantiene la melodía y no la letra que fue reescrita y es diferente de la original.
